Harsh, but if he was doping it's totally deserved. That's probably it for his career now too.

Absolutely unfair!!
The medicine they found on him was to force make to orine. So they say "if he used drugs we can not detect them". But they did not found any drugs. So they acted like if he took all the possible drugs in the world!
2 years means to kill the guy, he will never come back. Today he said he is one of the 10 players representant, so he recives all the official comunicates from the ATP, so he would be more than stupid to not notice what he is taking. He´s lawers and doctors will talk to ATP to change such a hard penalty.
In my oppinion, he is being chased because he is argentine. They think all the people/players here use drugs, after what happened with Maradona and Cannigia (in soccer) and later what happened with Chela, Cora and Puerta. In fact I read a joke in some board where they said "they will be all the time watching what does Gaudio and Nalbandian pee, they are next".

diuretics are still illegal though and he could very well have been taking all the drugs in the world since the point of diuretics is to hide drugs.
From the sounds of it, his defense was all over the place and poorly presented, he needs to get himself a better lawyer for his appeal. maybe he should get Rusedski's lol
as for the Argies, geesh something is going on here and i don't know what, but Gaudio & Nalbandian do need to watch their step. Top 20 players all get tested 10+ times a year and we don't need anyone else getting busted. The ATP needs to address why so many of the Argies are getting busted, there has to be some reason why 75% of the people busted for the past 5 years have been from Argentia
As for the 2 year ban, that is what is stated in the rules and if he is guilty i have no problem with it even though i do like Cañas. The nice thing about tennis is that it is a clean sport, i don't have to wonder who is cheating like you do with US baseball. The threat of a 2 year ban stops 98% of players

Nalbandian has nothing to do with drugs! I am sure about it! They can not think about him only because he is argentinian, this is discrimination!
I also like Cañas but I the 2 years ban is so hard because it is the second time he has this kind of problems.

Tonight Willy Cañas will be in Sportscenter, a program of ESPN and he will say some things, I will try to paste what he says here.
