A topic like "last time you went to the movies".
Many of us love to read books, and perhaps we are reading the same book, or we have the same taste.
The last I readed was: Cerca del Fin by Ernesto Sábato, a great argentinian writer. Cerca del Fin means "Close to the end". Sabato shares many memories of his life in this final book.

The last I readed was Macbeth - William Shakespeare.
Ambitioin, selfishness, and tragedy. Something we all deal with in our lives everyday. Shakespeare takes these common aspects of life and puts them in a well written play and adds the drama to pick it up. All in one play, Shakespeare made you love Macbeth, hate Macbeth, and feel sorry for Macbeth. Using long dramatic monologs.

Wow Natu Macbeth! I haven't read any Shakespeare since school, it is so hard to read plays Anyway the last book I read was Eragon by Christopher Paolini. It is a story about a boy that finds a dragon (named Eragon) and then gets chased around by some evil dudes. It is a trilogy and the other 2 books haven't come out yet

Ditto that "wow" Natu!! I found Shakespear sooo hard at school. Words like "Hither" just have no meaning to me !! I'm reading Patricia Cornwell "From Potters Field" She has written a series of books based around the same character. Theme - Thrillers The character is a Medical Examiner, pathologist/coroner. And the books are very detailed in the forensic medicine field, which fascinates me. Along the same lines as C.S.I.

After I started this topic I have read many, I will tell you one by one.
I read my second complete book in english language, it is... The Quick and the Death, by Louis L´Amour. It´s a cowboys novel, really great! It was exiting for me to read an entire book in english, it helps me in my spelling. Sometimes I did not understood a word but I did it when I got the meaning of the sentence. Other words I wento to find out in the dictionary and now I know them forever.
L´Amour is a "Bestselling Western Writer" and he wrote many books about cowboys, some of them become movies. (C) 1974 Great Britain.

Yes, I like Stephen King! They are always big books, 500 pages or more, and the suspense is better than in the movies. I enjoyed too much "Christine" the book than the movie.
I am reading magazzines these days but I want to buy a new book.
