Hello lovely people!
How is everyone? We don't chat too much on here anymore!
I have discovered my true calling in life. I have been volunteering at a local animal sanctuary for the past year or so. It's a sanctuary that takes in unwanted or stray dogs and cats. I help walk and look after the dogs.. and sometimes take puppies home with me when they are too young to stay on their own! I also help out in the office, telephone calls, paperwork and seeing to dogs being brought in and going out to their new homes, and do "home checks" on the prospective new owners! They have taken me on as an employee on a casual basis now.. which is fabulous! It is really my meaning in life !!!
I have also a part time job at a Pharmacy, I have to work regularly somewhere to earn the money to allow me to drive to the sanctuary !!!
Whats new with all of you?

That is great! Very nice from you, I wish to have some sanctuary like this here around. I had a cat that died in September last year, she had kinda cancer in her blood (I think it says leukemia). This illness come as many different illness before we discovered what it was: her skin, her eyes, her ears, her thees, so when she died I had a lot of different cat medicines. Some months ago Natu and me delivered all these medicines to a place like you described: they take animals from the street and cure them. The matter is they have no founds and they need everything, even cotton. They were very very happy with the medicines we gave them Some weeks later we saw them on TV asking for help because they could not pay their taxes and services (like water and energy). This foundation was made by actors in the 70´s and survives until today. But they don´t recive official help and they said the goverment wants their building to sell it.

It´s very hard, because we are few loyal people and it has no sense to keep threads dedicated to a tournament, nobody comes to check the scores. But there are many things we can keep. This board was like a friends club, we came here and talked for a while about us, posted some news, talk about tennis, we opened a space to talk about F1 too, and we have the games. I will ask Cris to come back too, she loves to play the chat games!

I got this emailed to me i would like to share it with all my crackpot friends ;D Imperfections---
An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.
One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.
At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.
For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.
Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.
But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.
After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream "I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house."
The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?"
"That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them."
"For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.
Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."
Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.
You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.
SO, to all of my crackpot friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!
And send this to any or all of your Cracked Pot friends within 5 minutes and see what happens! Don't forget the Cracked Pot that sent it to you!
