I watched France vs Switzerland tonight, very dissapointing, France has little chances to win the cup.

I voted Germany too. I live very close from they! Also, home team has always many chances to win, and after watching France and Brazil, I think they are the favorites.

Now Argentina is a serius candidate after defeating Serbia 6-0. Spain is a surprise, well done Ghana and Ukraine. In Round of 16 it will be more clear.

Argentina is playing very well! If they go through Germany in QF, they will win it.

Mexico scared us! with their early goal they shown they had nothing to lose and Argentina had to work very hard to defeat them. But.... what a goal! Maxi Rodriguez never dreamed with such a goal. Now Argentina faces the local team, we played before against them in Mexico 86 final and Italy 90 final.

We must think every match is a different match. We can´t be sure Germany will defeat Argentina because they had no problems to break Sweden and the argies had to play extra-time to beat Mexico. What would happen if half-time score is 0-0? Germany will desperate, the crowd will be turning upset, Argentina can find more space for quick attacks.
Italy seems to be mediocre, but they have reached QF and they their next rival is weak, at first sight. Ukraine lost 0-4 to Spain but then they won 4-0 over Saudi Arabia. Last night match was pathetic, but they won the penalty definition over Sweden and they have an historic chance against Italy.
England is favorite, many people do not realize that. They are not making impressive goals or high score victories but they are strong and solid. Portugal is also very strong, their coach has won 11 games in a row for World Cups! But they will not have the complete team to face England. England will have to show all they can do in SF if they have to play Brazil.
