I'm 53 and just this summer season I'm having some problems with my New Balance tennis shoes. The ball ( no pun intended) of each foot is getting pretty sore after a few hours of play. I'm playing the same courts and I weight the same as I did last year. My New Balance sneakers (brand new) are the best they sell and I even tried a different style of New Balance yet both hurt. Any ideas appreciated.
thanks Charlie

Charly, this is not an easy question... You have to find the best shoes for your own feet, maybe the best shoe for you is not good for somebody else. It´s also very important the surface where you use to play, if you use shoes designed for clay on grass courts, you´ll slip and perhaps fall down, or twist your ankle.
The problem is that to find a perfect shoe you have to test many brands, and this is really expensive... I use Adidas most of the times, also Le Coq Sportif, but as I told you, it´s very important the surface you play.
