This Game will hopefully prove fun & exciting for all to play. But first you must read the rules, before you enter the L.R.W.T.T
So, Here it goes;
1. GETTING STARTED
Pick a Female Tennis Player (she must exist) between numbers 150 & 1300 in the WTA Rankings, click HERE to find out which players are available for you to use:
www.wtatour.com/rankings/singles_numeric.asp?page=2
Also, read rule number 7 to pick used players.
2. CHOOSING YOUR PLAYERS FAVOURITE SURFACE
You will receive 400 points to divide between 4 different playing surfaces. Using these 400 points you rank each surface in order of your preference. For example;
Hardcourt - 106
Clay - 88
Grass - 104
Carpet - 102
TOTAL = 400
Choosing these points will be crucial when playing and entering events, and could affect your results against other players so choose carefully & wisely!
- You have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 150
3. POINT SEPARATION & DIVISION
Like many Games which you may have played before, you will enter points, which will need to be divided into 3 sets. Depending on the surface, and depending on how many points you allocated for that surface will affect the outcome of your result.
For example; If the tournament you have entered is a Hardcourt Event, and you allocated 106 points for your player on hardcourt, then 106 points is what you will have to divide between the 3 sets. Likewise, if you are playing a Clay Court tournament, and you have allocated 88 points for Clay as your favoured surface, you will have only 88 points to share between the 3 sets.
EXAMPLE:
Tournament Surface: Grass
Points Allocated for Grass: 104
Set 1: 40
Set 2: 30
Set 3: 34
TOTAL: 104
4. HOW YOU WIN A MATCH!
This will of course depend on the amount of points you have sent for each set. The score in each set will depend on the differences between you & your opponents points per set, which have been sent to this email account: lrwtt@lycos.com
5. POINTS SYSTEM & DIFFERENCES
--If the difference between points is 85 or more, you win the set 6-0

6.PLAYING DOUBLES
In each tournament´s thread you can pick a doubles partner. To play doubles we add each players singles points, so you don´t have to send doubles points, just sit down and watch, it´s a lucky matter (but you can talk with you partner in private to accord some points strategy).
7. RETIRED PLAYERS
When a player stops playing or announces her retirment, she will remain in the ranking but another player can take her, using his own strategy points but with the ranking potitions of the retired player.
EXAMPLE
on April 17th Player A anounces her retirment.
on May 1st. Player B coach anounces he wants to change to Player A.
So: Player B will stay inactive in the ranking, until another takes her, and his previous coach will be playing Player A, but using Player B surface strategy.
on May 12th, a newcomer joins the game and he says he will use Player B. He has to post his own surface strategy, but he will start with Player B ranking potitions.
Important: Players will not be available while they are ranked in the Top 15 potitions.
8.CHANGING NAMES AND STRATEGIES
If you want to rename your player or you need to change your surface, you can´t do it during the year until special threads are opened for.
The time to change is mid-year (July) and end of season (December).
A special changing surfaces/names thread may be open anytime if many players are asking for.
9.RANKINGS AND TOURNAMENT POINTS
We use the same system used by the WTA, that means, the best 17 singles performances and the best 11 performances during the last 12 months.
