Hello there, time for a new poll I reckon. Which of the above 8 so-called "young guns" is most likely to win a Grand Slam and/or reach top 10 in the coming year? I know Johansson is 11th at the moment but was he just a 1 season wonder? Vote now!

The polls guy is back ;D
I voted for Rafael Nadal, but my favorite player (Richard Gasquet) is also a rising star, he should be there, but you can post arbirtrary players, just to see who wins from them.

Fair point about Gasquet but, in my opinion, those 8 are the ones more likely to have a "breakout" season - Gasquet's been on the main tour 2 years now and hasn't really done that much whereas the likes of Berdych and Verdasco picked up some very notable wins last year and climbed up the rankings a fair bit. However, Gasquet is certainly a talent and it wouldn't be a surprise if he was top 20 at least by this time next year. And about that tennis polls site.......no thanks pal, not meaning to sound rude but just vote in my poll - if I wanted a site exclusively devoted to polls I'd find one myself thanks

Nadal - as he's proved to be a threat to some top players in 2004.
But I hope Ancic increases his wins too.
