ATP has signed an agreement with Chile-based Image Works to produce, maintain and market ‘ATPtennis.com en español.' The URL of the web site is www.atptennis.com/es/ The partnership is partly in response to consistently strong traffic numbers on ATPtennis.com from Spanish-speaking regions. Visitor numbers from Argentina rank second only to visitor numbers from the United States. Chile is fourth on the list. Many of the most popular features of ATPtennis.com will be available on the new site. However, ‘ATPtennis.com en español' will tailor its content to reflect the interests of Spanish-speaking fans, paying close attention to the fortunes of Latino players. ‘ATPtennis.com en español' went live at the beginning of ATP Buenos Aires on Monday, February 7. The web site can be accessed through the aforementioned URL or via a prominent link on the home page of ATPtennis.com. ATP Senior VP Communications, David Higdon, said: “ ‘ATPtennis.com en español' reflects both the booming interest in tennis in Latin America and the continued success of players from the region. We're delighted to announce this partnership, which will make the ATP circuit and its players more accessible than ever to Spanish-speaking fans.”
