Yes Federer's good, but who do you think is most likely to cause him the most problems this year and perhaps even beat him I know Marat did it once, but can he do it consistently?

I know Marat did it once, but can he do it consistently? i think he can do it more consistantly than anyone else, Marat's main problem is he keeps losing so damn early in draws that he never gets a chance to play Roger so we aren't very likely to see them play again this year

Agree with Nicki.
Marat can definately challenge Federer.
I do believe when he's playing well all the time as Federer/Roddick/Hewitt do, he is the best in the world - Federer will have to work hard to beat him.
But... (and there's always a "but" with Safin!!!) He's got to play consistantly well, and that's his downfall.

I voted Roddick
I think both Roddick and Hewitt can do it, in fact they both are very similar to me in everything (also, I hate both of them ;D) but Roddick is younger and maybe he has better luck than Hewitt.
I think Coria may end year at #2 if he has another great clay season, winning RG and some TMS on clay, but that is not to challenge Roger.... On hardcourts, Coria is lost.
I would vote for David Nalbandia, he has defeated him 5 times in a row, also in Roger´s home, but now Roger won 2 more matchs and he knows how to defeat David.

I voted Other. I think Hewitt and Roddick, in particular, have "I don't think I can do it; this guy is too good" written all over their face by the time the second set rolls around. It seems like Federer has put them in a lull.
I think it will have to be someone younger, with little to no experience playing Federer. I'm thinking Monfils or Nadal.

yes, Nadal could be quite a challenger in another year.
i think we have some very good tennis years coming up with all these younger players... lets hope Brit Andrew Murray starts making a mark too
