Somebody said Alonso has now the luck M.Schumacher had in the last 7 years! At the beggining of the race and until the pit stops begun, Raikkonen was less than a second behind, he even tried to pass him, so you can guess his car was fastest, but it is not the same to reach the rear of a car than pass him. Raikkonen´s chance was to do it quicker in the pit stop... but the right rear tyre could not be changed and Kimi was 15 seconds in the pit when he had to stay no more than 8. Until the second pit stop he was around 15 secs after Fernando, but then, it happened again! His car stopped and they had to restart the engine, destroying any chance he had to win the race. Schumacher was luck too, because he lost 2 places in the start, but two cars who were fighting behind him crashed each other (Rosberg and Montoya), and Fisichella who was 3rd. had to go to pits for a penalty. But 2 laps after the end of the race, Raikkonen lost grip in the spoon and Schumy stole him the second potition. Well... it could be worst for Kimi Ralf Schumacher had a pathetic day, for three times his car lost the grip and forced him to replace tyres. He was several laps after the leaders, fighting with the Midland and the Super Aguri until he finally deserted.

I am not sure about Luck. If Fernando had no problems during pit stops, that is not luck, that means Renault people are working very hard between GP and focusing in "no mistakes". If the Mercedes engile stoped at the second pit stop, that means the Renault engine is better. The incident Raikkonen had two laps before the end of race may be his own mistake or distraction because he knows the car can´t put a tyre on the dirty zone because he can lost the control. And he was able to return unharmed because he is a great driver and he knew how to keep the car running. He lost the second potition but he managed to keep on track.
Michael Schumacher is the best driver in the world. He always do the best his car can do. When he had the best car there was no chance to defeat him. When his car is ready to arrive in 5th or 7th place he will place it in the podium. So you can not give him a chance. Montoya was very hurried, you can not lose the nerve so early in the race. I wonder if Montoya missed his last chance to get close the championship.

M.Schumacher was lucky too, the safety car gave him the chance to reach Raikkonen´s potition, and Montoya incident also was good for him. But Massa was great with his one stop only strategy, it was a brave move in this track with the fast pit-street, but it was a good strategy for him. The pit street is fast, Fisichella lost very few time when he had the stop-and-go penalty.
