OMG! I did wonder after the recent issues whether Alonso is going to leave McLaren.
Where will he go?
I really like Rosberg... it'll be great for him to be in a McLaren next year!

McLaren is having a lot of internal trouble. A month ago it was Hamilton who was fighting Ron Dennis....
Alonso will surely go to Renault. They said Renault did not confirme the team for 2008 because they always had an open window for Fernando, and now it seems it will come true. So if Hamilton don´t win the championship next year McLaren will wear the numbers 22 and 23 in their cars, because they will be last in the championship.
If Alonso is champion and goes to Renault, and constructors championship stands like today, these will be the numbers:
1-2 Renault 3-4 Ferrari 5-6 BMW Sauber 7-8 Williams 9-10 Red Bull 11-12 Toyota 14-15 Super Aguri 16-17 Honda 18-19 Toro Rosso 20-21 Spiker 22-23 McLaren

Intresting, but it still needs to be confirmed. This is the "silly season" when all the rumors about seats for next season are running. Briatore will be delighted to have Fernando back.

I was surfing around and found some news before Turkey GP. They said Rosberg may move to McLaren if Alonso goes to BMW, and Kovalainen would race with Piquet in Renault. Old news because Heidfeld / Kubica are confirmed. But found news from last saturday after Spa qualy. Rosberg says he will keep his contract in Williams for 2008. When asking directly if that meant he was ruling himself out of contention for a potential McLaren seat, Rosberg replied: "I am". The source is itv.com
