I find it quite hard sometimes to buy presents for people (like cousins, Aunts, Uncles) who don't specifically ask for something... so this web-site gives you the chance to buy something to help some of the worlds poorest children. www.greatgifts.orgYou purchase a gift, this is sent direct to the country, and a card detailing the item is sent to your chosen person. For example, you can immunise a child for £17, buy a fruit tree for £5! You can buy pigs, chickens, honey bees !!! A couple of friends are getting married in January, they don't want people to buy them gifts (as they have everything they require) and have suggested people give blood. So we are going to buy a toilet as their wedding present! (they have a good sense of humour!!)

I have seen the website, it looks excellent, a wonderfull idea, but I wonder if it is real. If so, it is one of the best ways to help people, you don´t need to move from your house (go and buy, then deliver it in a church or somewhere else). It is a good ideat to make these kind of websites to help arround the world (like Africa, India, here in Southamerica) etc.

Sometimes I feel the need to give, give, I don´t know, I feel guilty for the loss of my baby. I have donate all my dolls collection to a hospital and my toy bears too. Sometimes when I´m depressed I want to give my computer too.
