Arthur C. Clarke passed away

I heard about him because my all time favorite author, Isaak Asimov said they had an agreement: he used to say that he was the best SF writer, and Clarke said Asimov was the best SF writer.

So I said to myself "if Asimov likes him, he must be good..." and then I become friend of his books too.

I didn´t know he lived in Sri Lanka. Why did he choose this place to live?
